I (f27) am debating proposing to my boyfriend (m27)
I have been dating my boyfriend on and off for 11 years. When I went to college we stopped talking for about a year due to difficulties staying in touch/different perceived life paths but rekindled right before the pandemic. We are best friends with a mutually strong love for one another. I have voiced to him for the past few years I would like to get engaged and his phrasing is always “soon”. I don’t want to go into full detail here in this particular post. What I am looking for is anyone who HAS proposed to their boyfriend and wanting to know how it went/any advice you have. I understand it is not conventional, lots of you will say “respect yourself!” And this and that. But I am ready for the next chapter of my life with this man. I want to be a wife!
TL;DR : Want to propose to my boyfriend of 11 years and wanting to know any success (or failure) stories of others whom have done the same. I understand it’s unconventional, but please keep your negative judgements to a minimum!
