Hi all, so I currently just finished my first year as an arts & science student (for psychology) but I want to switch my major to education. As you can see from the title I failed my first year, which was due to a lot of stressful factors in my life at the time (being let go from my job, kicked out, and depression) and on top of that I never wanted to go into psychology anyway but I was forced into it by my parents as they said they would disown me if I became a teacher instead of getting, in their words, a real job. I have a meeting set up with an academic advisor already but I was wondering if there’s anything else I can do to help my case. Any advice helps, thanks.
