I bought this medium hold forming cream from American Crew in like 2022/23ish because the world was opening up again and I planned to start going out with friends again. Anyway I've been using the same container this whole time (infrequently) and this year I started to use the product more often and noticed the hair on the top of my hair where I used the cream is getting unnaturally wavy/harder to style, when before it was much more straight. I didn't realize until recently that these products expire and I was just wondering if using it after it has been expired for over a year or 2 will cause damage to my hair? Is that why it seemingly changed texture?
