If I was hired on as part-time, why are they scheduling me full-time

If I was hired on as part-time, are they allowed to schedule me 35 hrs+ without there being a conversation beforehand? Our store has been without a manager 2+ months, so a lot of the work that was done by a manger before, is now being thrown on me. We currently only have 2 BA’s (including me) and 2 new hires getting trained (by me). I understand with understaffing I will be scheduled more than usual, but this is getting ridiculous. I’m working 6 days in a row at 38 hours (35.5 if you include my breaks). My usual schedule was anywhere from 20-28, which I did appreciate. No one has asked me if this is okay, if I wanted to do any manager work, or anything. It’s all just been expected of me. I’ve tried changing my availability a while ago (around February) and was denied. So I’m pretty sour on the thought of them upping my schedule, without even asking me, considering they’ve not been willing to work with me on my needs before. What do I do?

Vacation/personal holiday

In July I’m planning on a vacation with my boyfriend, so I was going to take like 4-5 days off of work with him. How do you all suggest I go about this? Should I request off with personal holiday or vacation? I’ve acquired around 25 vacation hours and 24 personal holidays. How many of those hours would they approve do you all think? And those are paid hours I’m assuming?
