I was selling an item on Facebook Marketplace and a lady had reached out to me to buy one of my items. So I said cool yeah, I gave her my location and told her she can pick up at this time and blah blah blah whatever. she agreed to come meet up at that time. so when the time comes, she doesn't show up at all and so I reached out to her and asked are you still interested? are you still coming? because maybe I just thought she was just running late or something happened, you know stuff could happen in life, you know whatever. She just flat out ignored my message, left me on seen. So, I left her a message saying "next time please do not waste my time. if you didn't want the product anymore you could have just worked up the courage to tell me instead of being a nuisance." So then I left her a one-star review because it's very rude that she literally set up a whole time and agreed to meet with me and then ends up ghosting me and wasting my time and I wanted to warn people about her. Next thing I know a couple of days later, I noticed that she ended up giving me a one-star review saying I was disrespectful because I told her don't waste my time. Like the audacity is crazy! I went from having 5 star review status and now my review status has dropped down to 4.3 because of her! Was I wrong??

So basically I was selling some wigs and press on nails on FB Marketplace and this one lady messaged me telling me she was interested in buying a wig and one pair of press on nails. I told her okay I'm available this time for pickup, blah blah blah you know the rest. So, she told me she was on her way to come pick it up, I waited hours for her to show up, I reached out to her to ask if she was still coming. She told me yes, she said she was cashing out her check first and then she'll be on her way. I was like okay, believed her whatever. More hours go by, she doesn't show up. So I decided okay whatever, just another person playing games. She reached out to me the next day apologizing saying sorry something came up, got a lot going on. I was like okay I guess, cuz you know stuff happens. She was like can you possibly hold the item for me until Monday? (It was Friday when she reached out to me). I told her I didn't do holds because most of the time people ask for holds and then end up deciding that they don't want it anymore, it's unfair to people who wanna actually purchase. She insisted that she definitely still wanted it and wasn't gonna flake. I just told her if it's still available by the time Monday comes, you can get it but if someone else messages me about it to purchase over the weekend, I'm selling it to them because I don't do holds. She begged me to hold it for her, I repeated what I said. No holds! She said okay. Over the weekend, some ppl did message me but when I got back to them, they didn't respond which I'm used to lmao. Monday comes, she reaches out to ask if it sold, I told her no. She says okay, I'm on my way to get it, let me get food for my man first and then I'm coming. I said okay. Hourssss go by again! She don't show up! I reached out saying like what's up? you coming or not? because if you ain't, I'm selling to someone else because it's not fair for me to keep waiting for you. She just said "okay fine, I'm sorry." I told her next time please don't waste my damn time. Someone else reached out to me to buy the stuff and I gave them the location and time and they showed up, bought it with no issues! 🙌🏾 Chat, what do you think? Do you think the lady really wanted the items or she was just playing games? It really seems like to me she didn't actually want it but just didn't want me to sell it to someone else. She wanted control. What do y'all think?
