So my package, a plushie from a friend from the US, was shipped in early March and arrived in Northern Ireland around early April, since then the tracking info just says:
"The driver was not able to receive payment. A final attempt will be made the next business day" at least once a day for close to a month.
Up until the 28th of April when I actually got a letter saying I owed import duties. I paid these on the 28th but ever since the tracking STILL says the same message. I have yet to see any UPS vans and there's none in my doorbell footage etc.
The main Tracking page just displays a yellow box with "Delivery Attempted: Funds Needed" and "Import fees have already been paid for this shipment." So it should be deliverable now right????
Any advice on how to free this package? I am beyond frustrated and worried rn that I'm going to be charged late fees or something, since last time they hounded us for months, for 1p charges (literally 1 cent) it was awful
update: found my invoice it's dated the 2nd of April and was delivered on the 28th, how do I know if I'll be charged late fees due to snail mail????
