Hi all, I’m pretty new to painting and had a quick question.

Every time I roll a wall, I notice a fine mist / tiny paint splatters ending up along the base of the wall (near the floor).

I’ve been using drop cloths, but I still find small specks after I’m done.

Is this mostly a technique issue (like too much paint on the roller or rolling too fast), or is it more about coverage (not enough drop cloth / too close to the wall)?

Any tips to prevent this would be really appreciated!
