Toxic professor and Cunning classfellow.
Graduated in 2025 with bachelor of Biochem.
I had an serious issue with one of the department lecturer. She was blackmailing me and some other students because one of our classfellow( was one the best friend and i helped him pass many papers🥲) who In order to gain favour with professors of the department made some wrong accusations and specifically told that said professor. Some personal things that we talked about her in friends whatsapp group(she had her papers retracted and had enrolled into phd without GRE test). After she graded our papers wrong gave me Cs in two courses in my last semester i filed a case against her with HOD of department.
Long story short i was forced to withdraw the case as she had hidden our papers and wasnt wasn't submitting it to department and HOD pleaded with me to backoff for the sake of my degree as because of case my degree got late about 4 months as we were near winning the case but the same class fellow wrongfully testified infront of the committee that it was us who blackmailed the lecturer not her blackmailing us(he said this while looking me right in the eye🥲)
Now i am looking to take admission for masters in the same department but the problem is that, the same classmate who was responsible for all this will be my senior and in the same lab as he didn't took a gap year. He is also the department favourite as he would make himself appear loyal to the professors. Everyone love him. And the same lecturer is also there and i will have 2 courses with her during my mphil.
So what should i do is it a bad idea to enroll in same department or should i switch to microbiology.
Biochemistry gives me familiarity and microbiology gives me option of started anew.
Will i be able to handle change of field?
