Trying to find that perfect baby carrier is a lot harder than I thought! I want cross back and would prefer a waterfall style and something with some padding (but not too much…). Baby is 4 month and in 3-6month clothes, 3rd and last baby. I’ve never back carried and probably won’t tbh. Hoping to spend less than $150
Carriers I have-
stretchy wraps- love but baby is too big now
ergobaby embrace- my favorite, love the cross back and soo easy to put on but baby is too big now
Tula ftg- I like but it’s so hard to get on without someone helping with the buckle
Older lillebaby (complete?)- sooo bulky, don’t like
Carriers I have looked at and my worries
Lenny light- is this actually comfortable with an x back? In some photos it just does not feel like it’s meant to be a cross back with how padded it is
wildbird aerial- in a lot of the photos it looks like the straps are reallyyy close to people’s necks and looks uncomfortable. Also apron style
hope and plum lark- apron style. Very unpadded, the waist band in particular looks like it would dig into the sides and be uncomfortable
oscha bairn- love the look but they seem stretchy like the embrace and baby would sag. Apron style
Mabe, momcozy, artipoppe- this sub hates but I feel like I would like them?
coco carriers- don’t know much about but seem like they could fit the bill
