Hi everyone, I'm trying to find an alternative commander for the FFXIV precon legends since I love the characters but [[Y'shtola, Night's Blessed]] is too infamous now and I don't want to go "it's not that Y'shtola deck" every time.

Commanders I've tried:

• [[G'raha Tia, Scion Reborn]] - I've tried a version of him that runs the job select equipment but it just felt too slow and couldn't keep up with the other token decks. I don't really want to play him as control since Y'shtola is just better at that.
• [[Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain]] - I haven't actually built the deck for myself, but a friend already has an Arna list and I since I helped him build it I think our lists would be too similar.
• [[Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima]] - tried the job select equipment again but people kept killing Jin and the deck struggled without him.

What I want:

• Keep the noncreature focus - I want to keep the deck focused around noncreature spells so I don't really want to add too many archetype staples (one of my problems with going with the job select versions was that it needed the voltron staple creatures and the ffxiv characters just felt like they were making the deck worse)
• Not a control deck - If the commander leans too hard into control then Y'shtola just becomes objectively better than most commanders so I really want to avoid it.
• Includes Esper colors - I don't mind going more colors but I think adding more colors will just make the deck lose focus.
