Hi! So I am looking to foster a cat for at least 3 months (possibly more). I've never fostered before and honestly not sure if I have the heart to not get attached but I wanted to try it since there are just soooo many street cats in my area. I was just wondering how beneficial fostering is? Is it hurtful to the cat to get attached for a few months just to send it back to the shelter? Any info helps, thank you!! I just want to make sure I'm not "getting their hopes up" in a sense.

Hi. I want to sublease a student apartment but am not a student at the affiliated university. Do landlords actually care if you lie on the application? I would just agree to the lease agreement saying I am a student there. But obviously don't want any legal ramifications. Thanks!
Edit: My application was approved with me stating I was a student at another university in the area, which is true. I am subleasing so have no signed any lease agreement yet but have paid admin fees. Still deciding what to do but I appreciate all the advice.
Hi. So I wanting to sublease an apartment for the summer that happens to be affiliated with a university. I am a graduating student at a different university but technically still a student when the lease would start on May 1st. The apartment I want to sublease has a lease agreement that says tenants must be full time student or faculty at the affiliated university. This is the only place I can afford and need something quick but it's also my first time leasing an apartment so I don't know if I should risk it. Can the building manager check if I am a student/will they care enough to? If I get caught, what would the consequences be? I just don't know what to do so any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
