For the people who didn’t get the chance to play the beta yet, be patient.

Yo I gotta tell yall, the game feels super real. I had a couple full 3 round fights with someone who actually plays tactical and it genuinely felt like a real UFC fight. Even when the other player is pressuring you and playing smart, it feels like an actual fight instead of arcade spam. The movement, spacing, timing, pressure, everything feels way more natural. You can’t just spam random strikes anymore or you’ll get punished fast. The fights actually flow like real MMA fight.

Don’t listen to all the negative comments. I literally don’t even know how I’m supposed to go back to UFC 5 until 6 comes out. We might actually be about to get the best UFC game since 09

My thoughts about the beta after 8 hours of gameplay

Played UFC 6 for around 8 hours total and honestly the striking feels WAY better than UFC 5.

You actually need skill and timing now instead of just throwing endless combos and pressure spamming. If you try to play like UFC 5 and spam strikes nonstop, you get KO’d fast. Counters feel dangerous and positioning matters way more.

Every fighter actually feels like himself too. Different movement, rhythm, speed, and animations make the roster feel unique instead of everyone feeling the same with different stats.

Ground game is mostly the same though. The only major difference I noticed is defending ground and pound feels way harder now and it’s much easier to get TKO’d if you make mistakes on the bottom.

Flow State honestly feels useless and cartoonish. I feel like they could completely remove it and the game would feel cleaner.

They also seriously need to change the HUD. It feels outdated compared to how improved the actual gameplay and graphics are.

And honestly, I think that’s why a lot of people are saying the game isn’t good. A lot of players are still trying to spam body knees, elbows, and nonstop pressure like it’s Mortal Kombat or Tekken.

UFC 6 punishes that playstyle way harder now. You can’t just rush in and throw everything anymore. You actually have to calculate each strike, manage distance, time your counters, and not panic when someone pressures you.

If you play smart and technical, the striking feels way more rewarding than UFC 5.

Overall the game feels really good to me so far and cannot wait for the full release.
I’d give it like an 8.5 out of 10!

You guys complain a lot about UFC 6, but honestly some things in this game are actually crazy good.

The graphics and animations are probably the most realistic we’ve had in a UFC game. The facial damage, movement, lighting, sweat, knockouts, and even the way fighters react after getting hit feels way more alive compared to older games. Sometimes it genuinely looks like a real broadcast during exchanges.

The striking animations feel smoother too, especially in slower technical fights. You can tell they put a lot of work into making fighters move more naturally instead of feeling stiff and robotic.

Yeah, the game still has issues and annoying moments, but people act like everything about it is terrible when visually and animation-wise it’s honestly one of the best MMA games ever made.

I’m playing MMA/UFC games for the past 20 years and I really enjoyed the beta
