I recently completed my system engineering training at Infosys and got Chandigarh DC as my base location.
Now, I’ve been mapped to a project in Bangalore and have already accepted it. My current job level is JL3.
I wanted to understand what kind of travel/relocation support I’m eligible for:
Will I get any travel allowance or one-time relocation allowance?
Who should I contact internally (HR / manager / TMS team) for clarity on this?
I’ve heard that at JL3, flight tickets might not be approved, and only train/bus travel is allowed. However, there are no convenient direct bus/train options from Chandigarh to Bangalore.
In such a situation:
Can exceptions be made (like flights)?
Or is there any workaround others have used?
Would really appreciate insights from anyone who has gone through a similar situation.
