I previously attempted the Infosys upgrade test but couldn’t solve any coding questions. I realize my DSA foundation is weak and I want to restart properly from basics.

I have a 1-month cooling period before I can apply again for Infosys SP/DSE offcampus, and I want to use this time effectively.

My goals:

Build strong DSA foundation for OA + interviews

Start Codeforces gradually

Become good enough for better off-campus opportunities

Background:

Basic Java knowledge

Not strong in DSA

Willing to study consistently for next few months

Questions:

How should I structure DSA prep for OA-level companies like Infosys SP/DSE?

How do I start Codeforces as a beginner without getting demotivated?

Any dsa sheet or pattern I can follow to start from beginning?

What else should I improve or learn apart from dsa to get shortlisted?

Any structured roadmap or personal experience would really help.

Hi everyone, I was recently selected for a DSE role and had a doubt regarding the pre-test process.

I have heard from some people that if we clear the pre-test, we will get a chance to choose our preferred domain from the available options.

However, recently I am also hearing that even after clearing the pre-test, the company itself assigns the domain and we may not be allowed to choose.

I’m a bit confused about which one is actually true.

Can anyone who has recently gone through the DSE onboarding process or has reliable information please clarify whether domain selection is based on our choice after the pre-test or if it is assigned directly by the company?

Also, how tough are coding rounds? Any tips or important topics? and if you have any type of coding sheet for prep?

I got hired as a JL4 last year with 1+ YOE at $115k. It’s been a year and I have only received awards and no real promotion. My delivery manager said it may take another year. How was your experience?
