Hello,
If anyone is looking for another way to keep an eye on their Octopus Energy usage, I’ve built a web app called Joulens.
There are plenty of great options in this space, but I’ve focused on making Joulens as clean and easy to use as possible. If you want to know more then the full feature list and FAQs are on the homepage.
A few quick highlights:
- It’s a PWA: I built it as a Progressive Web App, so you can “Add to Home Screen” to get a near-native experience (including push notifications) without needing to visit an app store.
- AI Insights: I’ve integrated an AI chat to help make sense of your data. To keep the project sustainable, I’ve set a limit of 75 interactions per month (10 interactions during trial period), which should be plenty to get a feel for how it works.
I am actively working on more features, but it is at a decent state for me to rollout to see any glitches and feedback beyond my own energy data.
