My cat has been increasingly making hairball hacking sounds over the last 1-2 weeks but nothing comes out. Last night I noticed she was breathing faster and heavier. She has also had very runny eyes. She is half feral so it’s difficult to assess her but her brother passed away last year and they suspected it may have been FIP. She has always had teary eyes, off and on since she was a kitten, so I suspect she has some allergies. And she has been spending more time on the screened porch lately so this could just be allergies but I’m so nervous and don’t want to downplay her symptoms.
