Hi all I am in the process of applying for British nationality and curios to hear which documents have you used to prove you have been in the UK for the past 5 or 3 years? Does council tax and rent contract apply at all? Do I need a letter from my employer?

Also regarding the passport is it just the copy that's needed or do they need the original? I am EEA national.

Regarding the referee declaration is there an official document from the government that can be used?
