Metrobank app OTP not arriving

I just got my replacement Metrobank card and activated it successfully. I received the OTP during activation with no problem.

But when I try to add the card in the Metrobank app, I never receive the OTP, even after requesting a new one multiple times.

I already called customer service and tried these troubleshooting steps:
- Restarted phone
- Reinstalled the Metrobank app
- Disabled biometrics
- Checked that I didn’t block any numbers/messages

What’s strange is that the customer service rep was able to send me an OTP manually, and I received that immediately. It’s only the OTP coming from the app that never arrives.

Has anyone experienced this before or found a fix?
