I want to propagate Jamaican Cherry, am I doing this right?
I took this random branch from a tree, cut off all flowers and buds, and most of the leaves. I made a diagonal cut on the stem, peeled half an inch to apply honey(in place of rooting hormone) and stuck it about 1.5 inches into the ground.
The soil was a bit dry on Day 1, so I watered it a bit.
This is the plant as of evening of Day 2, am I on the right track? And when can I expect to see the leaves not drooping anymore?
(By the way, it recieves sunlight throughout the day and is placed against a south-west facing window)
