I’m currently a C1 Eternity Namor main, and most of my climb so far has been with a consistent duo who plays dive tanks like Cap, Hulk, etc. That synergy has definitely helped smooth things out, especially when coordinating engages and playing around aggressive comps. At this point, I’ve got around 30 hours on Johnny, and I’ve been seriously considering doing a full solo queue run to Eternity with him as my primary pick.
That said, I’m starting to question how realistic that actually is given the current state of the meta. Poke still feels incredibly dominant in a lot of lobbies, and when you’re solo queuing, you don’t always get teammates who understand how to enable or play around a more commit-heavy, tempo-based style. There are plenty of games where it feels like you’re just getting chipped out before you can even properly set up an engage, and without coordination, those windows feel even smaller.
Is it even possible while solo queing?
