There's always someone collecting for something, someone's birthday, wedding or retirement. It's all adding up. Then there's the hassle of getting cash when I stopped using cash a few years ago. I'm planning on doing my grocery shop in Aldi tomorrow and Aldi don't have ATM machines and I've been sick all weekend to go out and find one and then I have to break a 20 into 5s or 10s. I have a lot going on and even giving 5€ is too much but I don't want to come across as miserable either.

I'm a single woman, I'm not sure if it matters. But a joke started up in my workplace over two years ago about myself and another colleague. I originally joined in because at the time, it was funny. But another colleague mentioned it every single day for a year and a half!!! It got on my nerves so much that I lost it with the colleague who kept bringing it up.

During this time, another colleague gave me a Christmas present of a framed picture of this colleague. I didn't know what to do with it. I couldn't bring it home, so it stayed in my locker.

All because I took part in the joke originally.

When I eventually put a stop to it, another colleague started flirting with me which wasn't his style of "joking" and made me think he was trying it on with me. I was going to go to management but he flipped the script on me so he doesn't get to look bad!!

We recently had a few new people start and I saw one person racing for his bus after work. It was his last bus home. So I started to give him a lift to the bus stop after work and another colleague cannot let go of that original joke that started two years ago and thinks I just lure young lads into my car, like I can't feel sorry for them racing for the bus. I told him to give him a lift then if that's what he thinks but he won't have anyone sit in his car!!
