Interested to know what everyone’s actual goals are from trading, or is it just trading for the sake of making your money do something other than just sit there?

For me it’s very much a case of grow my portfolio enough to buy a house in cash and have a healthy pot left over to be able to either allow me to withdraw a healthy amount at 4-6%pa or pay me enough dividend to be comfortable (at least till my pension becomes accessible).

I see people on here all the time with very healthy pots from 500k to 1.5m and beyond (great work btw 👌🏽) but it got me thinking what is everyone’s end goal? What is ‘enough’ in a world of always wanting more?
