switch to night shift or stay on day shift?
option 1 is switching to a night shift that pays slightly more and has fewer people around, so it might be less stressful in some ways. the downside is it would completely flip my sleep schedule and i’m not sure how well i’d adjust long term, especially with social life and general energy levels during the day.
option 2 is staying on my current day shift, which is stable and easier to manage in terms of routine. i already have my sleep and daily habits built around it, but the pay is lower and there’s more constant activity and supervision during work hours.
i keep going back and forth because one option feels better financially and the other feels better for my overall routine and health.
tl;dr: switch to higher paying night shift with a reversed schedule or stay on stable day shift with lower pay?
