Can I Join The "Black Women In Pre Law" Club at my University If I'm Mixed?

Hi All! This is my first time posting here so if I miss anything please let me know!

So, I am mixed black and white, but my dad is mixed too so I am very lightskinned. I grew up in a predominantly white area. I was also never raised with any black family (my dad was adopted) so I do not retain a lot of what is considered to be black culture. So my dilemma now is that I am going into my third year of college and the Black Women in Pre Law Club released today that they were accepting applications for director positions. I have gone to one of their events and supported one fundraiser, but I have been unable to g to any other events because I work two jobs to pay for school and am also the VP of Inclusion for my sorority on campus, I simply didnt have time. I feel like I haven't gotten a chance to really put myself out there with the girls on the E-board and I also just feel like I may not be "black enough" if that makes sense. My brother told me that being mixed is being black but I still feel like somewhat of an outsider in this kind of situation. I really want to be more involved, but am I the right fit for it? If so, can anyone provide any tips on how to not feel so disconnected? I really want to find the courage to apply, but I am unsure if its meant for me. Thank you for any advice!
