I’m a bit concerned about a skin issue and would really appreciate some input.
About 5 days ago (this is now the 5th night), I noticed a cluster of very small red/pink bumps on my left forearm. Since then, it hasn’t really gone away. It may have become slightly more noticeable/red over time, but it hasn’t dramatically spread or improved either.
Some details:
The bumps are small, fairly uniform, and limited to one area of the forearm
They are not painful, not warm, and only very mildly itchy (almost negligible)
No pus, no blisters, no oozing
No fever, sore throat, or any other systemic symptoms
It hasn’t spread to other parts of my body
I live in Hyderabad, so it’s quite hot and humid here, and I do sweat a fair bit. I also sometimes rest my forearms on surfaces while working, so I’m wondering if friction, sweat, or contact with something could be a factor.
It just looks quite unpleasant and I’m a bit worried because it’s not going away quickly.
Does this look like something common (like heat rash, contact irritation, or something else)? Should I just wait it out, or does this need to be checked by a doctor?
