Hi guys

Recently started doing some Prolific surveys for a bit of extra money, I did search on here to try and find out how I go about declaring it and if it essentially falls into the same category as my wages would. Most of the topics I found were from over a year ago where there seemed to be a bit of confusion on the matter.

It feels like it should be earned income as i'm technically working for the money, but then i've seen posts saying that it's unearned and therefore i'd be decucted £1 UC for every £1 I make on Prolific, which makes it pointless.

Does anyone have a concrete answer on this please before I continue?
