Hi reddit, i wanna change my name, and i chose the one, that accidentally offered my friend.
It's Kater (Катер) and I think it sounds cool, and it's sounds barely like full form of my current name (Ekaterina / Екатерина). So, the problem is that Kater on Russian (Russia is where I born and live) sounds like F*KIN SPEEDBOAT.
I mean, I use it in social media, and everything ok, but I'm afraid of telling my friends/teachers/family "HI, COULD YOU CALL ME BOAT PLZ".
Also I thought about Frankie or Sasha, but... Kater is better
