And still struggling with print head cleaning and getting a good printout. There will be a special place in hell for the Epson employees responsible for this crap.

I replaced my free-standing upright freezer, which was tucked into a bespoke alcove (see photo). The new upright freezer is bigger (28" W x 68" H, 17 cu ft.) and the space between the sides and top is 1.5" and 1.75" respectively. This is less than the suggested space based on the manual. I can leave the required space at the back. Two questions:

  • Is the 1.5" - 1.75" space (alone) enough to ensure proper operation?
  • I was intending to install a 6" x 24" return air sidewall grille to allow for more airflow, possibly one just above the baseboard and/or another higher up the wall. The adjacent room is the furnace room, and is unfinished.

Any ideas or recommendations here?
