Hiya!
I’m planning on doing a 7 month trip around thailand, vietnam, laos, cambodia and maybe malaysia (although uncertain about that). I’m leaving in september 2026, and coming back march 2027. I keep seeing all these rules about needing proof that i will be exiting thailand within the 60 day period, but i’m only planning on being there for about a month or so. The rest i’ll be traveling around everywhere else. My question is, do i need to have booked the bus/ferry/flight tickets into the other countries before i even arrive in thailand? i was hoping to be super flexible so this is a bit tricky for me, but any tips would be appreciated. I’ve read up on the laws about proof of funds and so on, but haven’t found much on what will happen if i don’t have proof of moving around. Also my flight back is from bangkok, so i will be entering thailand again to go home. Is this allowed? Please let me know if i’m missing anything! Any help would be appreciated ☺️
