Never thought I’d experience this. I’ve been very careful with these—I always make sure I have two-factor authentication on all my online accounts.
Earlier this day, naka-receive ako ng a series of text messages na may na-charge na Canadian dollars sa BDO cc ko while I was sleeping. I did not receive any OTP, nor did I approve any of these transactions.
I immediately sent an email and called BDO. Their agent said I need to wait for the transactions to be posted and pay for them before I could submit a dispute form for investigation. Bakit ko babayaran yun???? I did not click any suspicious links or visit any suspicious websites.
SOBRANG STRESS NA BINAGAY NG BDO SAKIN. I will just settle all my debts on my credit card, and I will close all my accounts there. Sobrang kapabayaan nila, weak security system.
‼️ To all BDO cardholders, BE CAREFUL. Akala ko dati I should not be worried sa mga issue ng BDO, but I was wrong. Nangyayari talaga sa kahit sino, and it's actually legit.
Has anyone experienced the same thing? Please advise on what I can still do.
