Best Beginner Camera For My Situation?
Hey, I am pretty new to the subreddit and know basically nothing about cameras.
I have a trip to Europe planned for July, where I am going to the Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, and Italy with two other friends. I thought it would be a cool idea to take a camera with me so I could capture some cool moments.
The camera would be for everyday use, like shots of us around the city and of scenery, but also for nightlife, since that is one of the big reasons we are going on this trip. I also plan to use the camera for some professional work, like social media shots and professional promotional videos for example.
We have a lot of partying planned and also some festivals like Awakenings and B My Lake, and I thought it would be cool to bring a camera so I could document everything. The camera would be mainly for pictures, but obviously videos as well.
I guess my question would be, what is the best all-around camera for my scenario? I need something portable, something that does well in dark settings like nightclubs but also can capture great quality in daytime, something fairly easy to use and learn with, and that performs well with photos and videos. As for the style I am trying to achieve, I will attach some pictures for reference. If anyone has lens recommendations, I would love to hear some as well.
My budget for the camera and any extra lens or equipment is around $500-$1000. Thanks in advance!
