I wish a USCIS officer could comment on the pause

Hi all

I really am curious to know what’s the perspective of a USCIS officers on the pause.

What they think about people who are currently affected by the pause and whether they should join a litigation/lawsuit.

Hi all,

I’m from one of the original 19 banned countries. I’m on H1B right now but H1B will expire mid August 2026 and need extension (my employer has already filed for my H1B extension~ mid-march)

I’ve also filed for I-140 (with approved perm/labor cert), I-485, I-765 and I-131 also around mid-march.

I don’t know if I should be joining a lawsuit or not. I wanted to wait and see the results of at least one litigation that just got PI and see if those cases will be approved before anything. But I am also afraid all good lawsuits stop onboarding.

Any ideas on what I should do? Should I join a lawsuit? And if so, which one? I know Immpact (and probably mcbean?) are onboarding for 140/485 but not sure which one.
