Been working towards upgrading my PC that I built late 2019 and feel I am about ready to pull the trigger on the parts this weekend. Hoping to get some other opinions on my parts list and see if there's anything worth changing or if I can go ahead and buy. I play on a 1440p ultrawide monitor and my PC is really only used for gaming.
I originally wanted to go with a 5070ti as I've been using Nvidia products basically forever but I've heard a lot of great things about the 9070 XT and it's $200-$300 cheaper than the 5070ti models I was interested in. I don't do any kind of overclocking and I really don't give a shit about ray tracing or DLSS or any of that stuff. I have an eye condition so my eye sight isn't great to begin with and I don't really play a lot of single player, graphic intensive games. I mostly play multiplayer games and really only care about getting good frames for smooth gameplay on my high refresh rate, couldn't care less whether it's on Ultra or Low.
Anything you'd change? My hope is to get another 6-7 years out of this build like I did my current PC.
