I swear the self-checkout at CVS is one of the most painful experiences known to mankind.
Like… it’s 2026. The machine literally tells you what to do step-by-step, big buttons, bright screen, the whole thing. And somehow every single time, there’s a full-blown standoff at the front because someone just refuses to even try using it.
Instead, they’ll stand there, arms crossed, loudly sighing, acting like they’ve been personally attacked by a touchscreen. Then the moment an employee walks by, it turns into a full-on meltdown “I’m not using that thing!!!”like it just insulted their entire bloodline. And yes I’m talking about the senior citizens they’re the worst
