Cousins had their first baby. Both extremely independent, never asked for help. The husband did not leave from the hospital for 3 days (thats the average stay here). Slept on a chair next to his wife. Refused to go home and get rest. They refused any help on cleaning house or whatever, before or after. He did not want his mother to come to help (she lives like 7-8 hours away). That was friday. Last night we send a message: "would you like some cooked food?"- "oh dude that would be great" (something like that, we are not english speakers).
Both are good cooks, but if you been there, you know...
Anyway his mother is coming on Friday ...
One baby can humble you really quickly...
