Any one else complete the oil pick tube upgrade? I’ve been looking for videos and anything else.
So far:
I am replacing the exhaust gaskets from the manifold all the way back as the these have to come apart to get to the oil pan anyways. I thought about switching to the Grimm speed header, but I’m convinced I shouldn’t do it without redoing the tune, which I can’t due to the GS Update for now anyways.
I got the follow parts:
Nameless gaskets for mid pipe back
Grimmspeed stud kit
Grimmspeed or Overtake gasket kit
Rtv grey oil resistant
Going to go with the Iag oil pick up.
I’m trying to think of what’s else while I’m there. Any thoughts?
While it has 0 issues, just being able to do this after walnut blasting would help the engine get closer to a fresh state at 155k and I would then have only the clutch left as a major maintenance item.
