Took this photo along the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. Eurasian Tree Sparrows (Passer montanus) are the most common sparrow species here, basically filling the niche that House Sparrows occupy in much of Europe and North America. Both sexes look identical, so I can't tell if these two are a pair or just neighbors. They love darting in and out of dense juniper hedges like this one along the riverside parks.
