Got issued a CP16 for married jointly filing return for this year. Before it, we were due for a little under $6000, hut we did owe $2000 that we weren’t able to pay because times are rough (but we have a payment plan). Now that the CP16 has come in, the IRS is saying we will get absolutely nothing. Could we still dispute this?
