Anatomy scan is today at 2:50 and I am SPIRALING. We have had 3 first trimester losses so this is the furthest we’ve made it. I am absolutely TERRIFIED something is wrong with our sweet boy. Our NIPT came back low risk. The only issue I’ve had this pregnancy was a small subchorionic hematoma around 6 weeks and resolved by 7-8 weeks. I and absolutely spiraling that we are gonna get bad news today.
UPDATE: Anatomy scan day! I was EXTREMELY nervous leading up to this appointment after having 3 losses. Baby boy is measuring 13oz so almost a pound and in the 77th percentile. We weren’t able to see the doctor today like we were supposed to because she had to go deliver a baby but the ultrasound tech said she did not see anything concerning. I do have to come back though because she couldn’t get all the pictures of his heart because he wouldn’t sit still but she’s not concerned. He was sucking his thumb the whole time and kicking the crap out of me lol she said she would not have let us leave if she saw something concerning. She explained every single thing that she saw and took pictures of and told us to ask questions. She was amazing! We are coming back in 4 weeks for another anatomy scan to look at the heart (there was only one view she wasn’t able to get) and then appointment with OB after. They said my OB will review the scan from today and call me ASAP if something is wrong.
