Hi everyone,
I’ll be hosting FNM at home this week since our LGS is closed and I’ll be playing with a pod of fairly new players. They already know the basics of the game and each own some precons but so far they’ve only played those against other precons.

I had the idea of building a set of four decks that are well-balanced against each other, while offering very different playstyles, kind of like an official precon release. The goal is to help them discover new commanders, archetypes and mechanics in a "controlled" and fun environment.

So I’m looking for suggestions:
- If you had to design a “mini precon set” of 4 decks, which existing commanders would you pick? (Ideally with good balance between them)
- And with distinct identities/play patterns (so each deck feels unique)

I’m open to any ideas—fun, thematic, or even slightly optimized as long as they stay accessible for newer players. I aim for casual kitchen table bracket 2.

Thanks!
