I've made a post on here before about the kid I babysit. I did end up giving them a date and saying I was quitting. This is my last week, thank fuck, but it also just so happens to be the week that the kid is sick.
He's had a runny nose all week and he keeps wiping it with his arm and hand. So he gets snot everywhere, and I mean everywhere. From his nose back to his ears, all over his mouth, into his freaking hairline, and all down his arm and all over his hands. It's so fucking gross! And then he's grabbing things to play with or eat and it's just everywhere. Disgusting.
I've had to run around after him all week wiping his nose for him with towels and cleaning off surfaces he's gotten snot on. I used to really like spring, but I think I might despise it now. On top of him being sick, I go to the grocery store and every freaking kid is coughing or oozing or something! My daily dose of birth control is seeing him wake up already covered in snot and trying to hug me. Nope! Not happening!
So ready for this week to be over already. Side note: I think the kid got me sick because I woke up with a sore as hell throat this morning. Not bothering taking off because it's not unbearable but it is annoying. My sister has a barely one year old kid and I'm sorely tempted to offer my condolences for what she's going to be going through. I won't, but I want to.
