VSF V2 DateJust 41 - Azzurro Blue Roman Dial (Andiot)

• Dealer name: Andiot

• Factory name: VSF

• Model name (& version number): V2 DateJust 41 - Azzurro Blue Roman Dial

• Price Paid: $420 + shipping

• Album Links: https://andiotwatches.x.yupoo.com/albums/237234208?uid=1

• Index alignment: Looks well aligned and not obvious crooked markers.

• Dial Printing: Looks clear and crisp.

• Date Wheel alignment/printing: date wheel looks aligned well and look clear. Height and placement look good and properly centered.

• Hand Alignment: All hands look well-placed and accurately positioned.

• Bezel: engravings: fluted bezel looks sharp and has good shine.

• Solid End Links (SELs): no visible gaps from my perspective, please advise if I miss something.

• Timegrapher numbers: +1 s/d 285’ 0..1 ms (Great TG numbers overall).

• Anything else you notice: Everything looks basically flawless on this datejust from my perspective my only concern is in the photo of the rehaut serial the top of the i on the 6 marker appears to be raised away from the dial. I provided an additional photo above circling it for reference. I am wondering if this should be perceived as enough of an issue to RL; if it’s something that might cause the 6 marker to come loose or fall off. The i is attached to the v and the v appears to be secure so I think it’s ok, and doesnt seem to be noticeable when viewing head on or from a regular angle, but definitely could use another perspective or feedback on this. Thanks as always!

I see in all the subs how so many people talk about how gold reps NEED to be plated to even remotely resemble real gold, and that VSF yellow gold color wasn’t even close, especially compared to RGF. I never really believed that to be the case, so I bought a stock VSF V2 weighted daydate to compare to my solid 14K yellow gold jewelry.

Safe to say the watch completely stock looks pretty damn good next to real gold. Could it maybe get to 99-100% the exact shade as real gold with plating, sure, but is stock 95% there without the extra cost? Absolutely.

Let me know your thoughts, but I think buying a stock VSF yellow gold watch (at least the newer updated V2 daydates) doesn’t need plating at all to look really good next to the real stuff.
