Wrapping up the end of month one on 1.5 moving to 4mg soon, weight loss 9.5 pounds.
Here’s what I’ve noticed:
- I’ve changed my eating habits, I’m not just tracking to maintain a deficit like I have in the past I’m tracking protein and fiber.
I’ve done the calorie deficit in the past using OMD or just meticulously counting every gram but the longest I was able to stick to that was maybe 4 months. Then the slow decent back into “oh it’s fine” so one month for me is still in the “trial” period vs an actual lifestyle change. But I do think it’s become easier in a way.
Better sleep quality overall but the first few weeks I was *dead* tired. I don’t blame the pill itself but I assume it was the change in eating. But I’ve been falling asleep and staying asleep.
Bathroom habits have changed. No major side effects like some people have but I do notice now when I don’t poop or it’s smaller. Again I think my body is more so adjusting vs side effect. Also I pee so much more (because I’m drinking more)
I have not added new exercise. But I do walk about one mile everyday before the pill. I’ve been maintaining that.
My husband is having a harder time adjusting to the reduced appetite. He’s not doing anything wrong but He’s used to loving me how he always has: bringing home treats, buying us dinner, giving me more than he gives himself, saying “you deserve it” if I had any craving. He’s never made me feel guilty for eating before, now he’s confused with that. Hearts in the right place just needs a new outlet.
Overall: I’m happy I decided to try this. I’m not positive it will continue to help (because I’ve yo-yo’d before) but I’m hopeful this time that *Im* ready to make the change and the pill can help.
