Would I regret not going to prom?
So my prom is like in a month and I don't wanna go anymore. I feel like I'm gonna be lonely and miserable the whole time. I won't have a date cause me and my bf just broke up (still pretty upset about it) and my best friend is gonna have one so she's gonna be paying attention to him the whole time (this has happened before at parties and hangouts) and my other friends are gonna pay attention to their other friends (once hung out with them together and they like ignored me the whole time). Tickets are $180 and I really don't think they're worth it if I'm not going to have fun. We also have a rule where if we go to prom we have to attend the after party made by the school and stay till at least 3:30am so if I go I have to stay there for like 8 hours. However my best friend and parents are saying that I'll regret it and to keep thinking on it. What should I do?
