Attention all mk8 gti IE fans
I bought the IE stage 1 tune . Tried to flash the tune via iPhone…. Error… tried one more time…. Error. Tried to start my car. Wouldn’t start and I thought I bricked my ecu … fuuuuuhhhhcckkk … Tried to download the tune via my laptop….. error. Started my car, drove around the block but it ran like shit. Flashed it back to stock via laptop, followed the instructions and then flashed it stage one and what should have taken maybe 30 minutes at most, took like 3-4 hours but now my car absolutely rips. . 10/10 . Just trying to save anyone who purchases the stage 1 tune or probably any tune from IE….. DO NOT USE THE MOBILE APP. Just use your laptop. Do yourself a favor and save yourself 3-4 hours of stress upon your life and use a laptop to tune your car if you choose to use IE. I fucking hate them for promoting their mobile app because it is absolutely ass but if you just use windows it is killer. I’m gapping all my homies 100% . I’m happy now but god damn that was stressful.😩
