Just finished NGE then decided I had two hours to spare let's watch the EOE, my brother in Christ what the hell actually happened one second they were being overrun and killed by the seele forces then the Seele disappeared when the Eva Series arrived. Afterwards Shinji and Eva 01 were dispatched to help the already Eviscerated Asuka. Shinji then has a epileptic attack and Eva 01 goes apeshit and becomes God Almighty. Then the writers now higher than the outer limits of the universe decide 'how about this let's make a 100ft butt booty naked Rei kill the world'. Somebody please explain and help me.

Edit: In no way am I calling this show/movie bad it was peak. Absolutely glorious.
