I am currently waitlisted at NYU, and I specifically requested the NYC campus, but I am having second thoughts. Now I am considering my first year in London. Can I send them an email, or is this considered an update? NYU specifically sent an email stating, “Don’t send updates.”

Did you guys get an email saying that a significant number of students accepted their offer, therefore they will be admitting a small number of students from the waitlist.
Was this part of the email for all schools or only stern?
