Buyback on a stolen card

Buyback {X} (You may pay an additional {X} as you cast this spell. If you do, put this card into your hand as it resolves.)

If I buyback a card I've stolen, could I put a card I don't own into my hand? Or is there a CR note that states the owner of the card gets the buyback? I know it's not exactly the most common keyword but putting together a theft deck and wondering how that works.

I'm having some serious problems with this level and I can't really tell what the problem is. I'm effectively deaf while playing videogames, so I can't tell if this is an issue of audio cues or something weird happening. The patterns of the paint brush lasers and cassettes seems completely inconsistent.

In the room I included a screenshot of sometimes the left cassette goes down first and sometimes the right cassette goes down first. Both patterns are equally easy but it's really really really weird to me that it can even happen. Every cassette also seems to move starting at a random time after entering the screen it's never the exact same sometimes it's instant sometimes I have to just sit for like 3 seconds.

And the real problem is later towards the summit segment at the end, if I do the exact same thing with the exact same timing on these screens I'm dying sometimes and not other times.

All these rooms are being done on entry cycle cause I'm getting the deathless strawberry, so it's not like a death cycle desync.

Am I fundamentally missing something or did the level creator just do an awful job with the cycles? I have more deaths on this stupid baby mode easy level than on most other maps in this lobby because of these weird patterns.

Have a store that's completely no proxies, but need a playset of lotus petal for multiple decks. Doesn't strictly need to pass any tests, but I'd like it to be good enough someone would believe I bought it at a garage sale for cheap and just assumed it was real if I got called on it. BL/Ron seems like it would be pretty pricey because of shipping for me, so I don't really have the budget to try out multiple people. Does anyone have a recommendation for where they've personally gotten a good lotus petal?

I've seen multiple versions of poison storm that don't play Lotus Petal and seem to put up similar results. I'm interested in cycle storm but since I play on paper I'd need to drop nearly $200 for a playset. Store also isn't proxy friendly so I'd have to actively cheat if I was going to try and save money. How much is lotus petal responsible for the deck working? Is it the difference between like a turn 4 vs turn 5 kill? Or is it literally the card that makes the deck?
