Some reasons of my demotivation are that I haven't found someone who shares my taste in music.

I'm not saying I'm unique, I'm latino and most of the songs are reggaeton, corridos, or are singing about the same things. Nothing wrong about it (I guess), but I would like to write about things like depression, death, motivation; and almost all people are like: "Yeah, I wanna write about how she cheated on me and she will regret it" or "She was the one but I have to let go" or "🎶Yeah, I have sex all the time and all the girls want me🎶" . All expressed in the same ways. Obviously there are exceptions.

Again, maybe there's nothing bad about it. I just don't share the tastes. Which is why I haven’t found someone who share with or initiate a band. So, sometimes I feel lonely in that aspect.

Ironically, it can be a topic to write about, isn't it?

I started learning guitar because, well, caught my attention and because I wanted to write songs and learning an instrument, I think, is the first step. I'm almost a year in guitar lessons. Do you think I need more time to practice so I can write? Or is it just initiative? I feel like I'm impatient.

Also I know theory (a bit) and already see the videos from this subreddit but I don't know what next. I feel stuck.
