Van pictured is a 1988 Bedford Rascal, a rebadged version of the seventh-generation Suzuki Carry (SK410 series, F10A engine ,980cc, 45HP)

Fiberglass camper body (single-piece GRP mould) was manufactured by Island Plastics (37 years ago!!) a company based on the Isle of Wight, later renamed to Romahome and is demountable by loosening 4 bolts and an umbilical, leaving a independent tiny flatbed truck.

Back on the road after an engine swap

I just spent a week learning how to replace the F10A engine, now this little camper is back on the road! - used (57K) bare engine onto old gearbox. New timing belt, radiator, temperature sender and thermostat, oil and filter change

This is a 1988 Bedford Rascal, a rebadged version of the seventh-generation Suzuki Carry (ST90/SK410 series, 980cc, 45HP) cat for scale

The back is demountable leaving a tiny flatbed truck when I need it
